Excavator hydraulic breaker hammer internal workings in detail

The relationship between the area A1 of the upper chamber of the cylinder and the area A2 of the lower chamber of the cylinder is A1>A2, and A2 is always subject to high pressure. When A1 is changed from high pressure to low pressure, the piston moves upward, accompanied by high-pressure nitrogen in the rear cylinder body under pressure to store energy.

(1) Piston upward

Initial situation: piston and valve are in their lower position. The upper chamber of the cylinder is subjected to low pressure, and the lower chamber of the cylinder and the high pressure chamber of the valve are always subjected to high pressure at all times. The low pressure chamber connected to the return port is always at low pressure. The low-pressure chamber is connected to the cylinder conversion chamber, and at this time, A5 connected to the cylinder conversion chamber is subject to low pressure, so the cylinder conversion chamber is subject to low pressure before the piston moves upward.

Because the area A3, A4 by high pressure (A3> A4), so in A5 by high pressure before the valve by the downward force.

High-pressure oil enters the lower chamber of the cylinder to make the piston rise.

When the piston starts to move upward, the oil pressure in the piston conversion chamber does not change.

When the piston moves upward, the high pressure nitrogen is pressurized.

(2) Valve upward

When the piston moves to the middle, the cylinder conversion chamber is connected to the lower chamber so that the cylinder conversion chamber is subjected to high pressure. a3, a4, a5 are subjected to high pressure, their area relationship a4+a5>a3 so that the valve is subjected to the upward force of the valve in the force for upward movement when the piston stops moving, the high-pressure nitrogen accumulator reaches its maximum.

(3) Piston down

When the piston is upward, the piston conversion chamber is connected with the high pressure chamber in the valve, so that the upper chamber of the cylinder becomes subject to high pressure. The upper and lower chambers are subject to high pressure, and A1> A2, the piston is subject to downward force. On the other hand, the high-pressure nitrogen is pressurized to give the piston a downward force, so that the piston quickly downward movement.

(4) valve downward

Before this, the piston strikes the brazing rod, and the cylinder conversion chamber is connected to the low-pressure chamber, so that A5 is subject to low pressure. A3, A4 subject to high pressure, A3> A4, so the valve moves downward.

(5) Piston work

In the downward movement of the valve, the piston strikes the brazing rod.

When the piston strikes the brazing rod, the piston begins to move upward.

The hydraulic hammer repeats (1)-(2)-(3)-(4)-(5) in sequence to complete the work.
